Membership Grant Applications Open

I am happy to announce the Membership Grant program for AORN CT. This grant aims to provide support to perioperative nurses in Connecticut by reimbursing the cost of a one-year membership to AORN. We understand the value of professional development and networking opportunities in the perioperative nursing field, which is why we are offering this opportunity to our members and nursing colleagues.

Please note that in order to receive reimbursement, applicants must first submit proof of payment for their AORN membership to the AORN National office. Additionally, if an applicant has purchased a membership package exceeding one year, the reimbursement will be equivalent to the cost of a one-year membership.

This grant opportunity is open to all members in Connecticut, and only memberships purchased between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, will be considered for reimbursement. The grant will be awarded to 10 individuals or until the allocated funds are depleted. Only one reimbursement grant will be awarded per individual. 

We emphasize the importance of being involved in your local AORN chapter to connect with other perioperative nurses in the state and local region. Active engagement with the local chapter provides opportunities for networking, professional growth, and collaboration.

While AORN membership operates on a national level, it supports growth across the globe with a plethora of benefits and connections to innovative technology and resources. From educational opportunities to access to cutting-edge research, AORN membership offers valuable tools to enhance your perioperative career.
