Legislative Committee

The role of the membership within the Legislative Committee is that members will seek out and keep the chapter informed of pertinent local, state, and national legislative activity and direct local involvement in the legislative process when necessary.

They represent the Chapter when feasible at ANA, CNA or any allied professional organizations’ meetings.

This year, we are focused on promoting S.B. 89 An Act Concerning Surgical Smoke.

We also partner with CT Nurses Association at their Nurse Specialty Group Roundtable Discussions to engage in connected information sharing and look for opportunities to support nurses across the state.
